No forward movement on 4 names reiterated by collegium headed by CJI Chandrachud

The appointments of advocates Saurabh Kirpal, R John Satyan, Amitesh Banerjee, and Sakya Sen as HC judges remain pending with the government, despite reiterated recommendations by the Supreme Court collegium. Justice Sanjiv Khanna will succeed as the next Chief Justice of India on November 11, 2023.
