Odisha govt doubles funds for tribal councils

Trying to further consolidate tribals in preparation for the Lok Sabha and state assembly elections next year, Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday doubled allocation for the special development councils in the nine tribal dominated districts.
