Off-duty J&K cop shot in third targeted shooting attack in three days in J&K

An off-duty J&K police head constable, Ghulam Mohammed Dar, was shot and killed by terrorists near his home in Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Dar, who leaves behind his wife and seven daughters, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Security forces are conducting a manhunt for the terrorists. The increase in targeted attacks is believed to be linked to security operations against terrorist infiltration attempts from Pakistan before winter sets in.
