One year of Taliban: Dehradun-based IMA alumnus struggles to make ends meet

A 26-year-old Afghan National Army (ANA) officer, trained at the Dehradun-based Indian Military Academy (IMA) in 2018, told TOI that he along with several of his fellow personnel had gone into hiding, fearing for their lives as the Taliban, which is celebrating its first year in power, was “hunting down everyone who worked for the US-backed government”.
