Oscar winner MM Keeravani to reserve his name for ‘Chandramukhi 2’

Telugu composer M. M. Keeravani, known as Maragathamani in Tamil cinema, will retain his birth name for the upcoming Tamil film ‘Chandramukhi 2.’ The director, P Vasu, wanted Keeravani to use his original name to maintain the association with blockbuster films like ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Eega.’ Keeravani initially hesitated due to another composer having scored the music for the 2005 film ‘Chandramukhi,’ but he resolved the issue by personally reaching out to the composer. Keeravani has a successful career in both Tamil and Hindi cinema under different pseudonyms.
