Parents of pro-Khalistan preacher Amritpal Singh meet him at Assam jail

The parents of Amritpal Singh, a pro-Khalistan preacher, met him at Central Jail in Dibrugarh district of Assam on Friday. Tarsem Singh, the father of Amritpal, expressed his gratitude towards the jail administration for the treatment they received during the meeting. He acknowledged that despite being in jail, his son was in ‘chardi kalan’ (high esteem) and that they hope for his early release.
