Partial monsoon revival in state likely from today: IMD

Parts of Maharashtra can expect a partial revival of the monsoon due to a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal. The system is likely to bring increased rainfall and isolated thunderstorms to the state, particularly in Vidarbha. Pune may also experience some light rain, with isolated moderate rain expected on Friday. The overall seasonal rainfall shortfall in Maharashtra is currently at -9%, but it is expected to reduce to around -7% by the end of September.
