Passenger traffic at Amausi soared by 36% in Aug this yr

Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow, India, saw a 36% increase in passenger movement in August 2023 compared to the same month in 2022. Domestic passenger traffic rose by 46% during the same period. The airport attributes the increase in passenger numbers to initiatives such as Digi Yatra, the introduction of 2D-scanners and e-gates, and the use of Common Use Self Service (CUSS) kiosks. The airport also focused on improving security checks and increasing the usage of aerobridges. Dubai, Muscat, and Riyadh were the top three international destinations from Lucknow.
