PCB boss goes from ‘dushman mulk’ to damage control
In an attempt to do damage control, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Zaka Ashraf, praised the warm reception that the Pakistan cricket team received in India. Earlier, Ashraf had referred to India as an “enemy country” in a video that went viral. However, he now emphasized the love and respect between the players of both countries, stating that cricket has always played a bridging role between India and Pakistan. Ashraf is expected to visit India during the tournament, likely for the India-Pakistan match on October 14.
