PM sets 2035 target for space station, 2040 for Man on Moon, astronauts in space by 2025

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting to review the progress of Gaganyaan, India’s first human spaceflight mission, and set ambitious goals for the country’s space exploration. The meeting discussed plans for tests, including three uncrewed missions of the Human Rated Launch Vehicle. The first demonstration flight of the Crew Escape System is scheduled for October 21.
