The Char Dham yatra, a pilgrimage in India, has seen a resurgence in the number of devotees after a dip caused by heavy rainfall and landslides. Over 7,000 devotees are visiting Kedarnath and Badrinath each, while Gangotri and Yamunotri have also seen an increase in footfall. The total count of pilgrims is approaching 40 lakhs, with expectations of further increases in October. Repair work on roads has been carried out at a rapid pace to ensure safety for the pilgrims.
