Pro-Liberation writers’ group attacked in Dhaka

Around 100 people attacked the Creative Writers Association during a protest in Dhaka after the cancellation of March 7 and August 15 as national days. The mob assaulted the protesters, identifying them with the Awami League, and chased them away. The Liberal Democratic Party called for banning the Awami League.
