Film producer Ravindran Chandrasekaran was arrested by Chennai police for cheating a businessman of Rs 16 crore. After a month, he was granted conditional bail and expressed his happiness on social media about reuniting with his wife. Chandrasekaran had approached the businessman to invest in an eco-friendly project but failed to start it. He created false documents and balance sheets to deceive the investor. However, when he couldn’t repay the money, the police investigated and arrested him.
