Punjab: Depressed man strangles son to death; attempts suicide

Allegedly depressed over the death of his wife, a labourer strangled his eight years old son to death and also tried to commit suicide in Bajara Colony of Meharban area on Monday. However, the man survived and the police lodged a FIR against him under charges of murder.
