Rajasthan: Cops boycott mess food over pay grade, weekly off

Constables in several districts of Rajasthan boycotted mess food as part of a protest, demanding a grade pay of Rs 3,600, along with hard-duty allowances, regularized work hours, and scheduled weekly-off. They also called for the regular implementation of the Departmental Promotion Committee to facilitate time-bound promotions. Activist Jai Prakash Kumawat stated that the government should address these concerns and fulfill the demands.
