Revenue department to evict CPM offices, bank in Kerala’s Idukki

By on October 2, 2023 0 6 Views

The revenue department controlled by the CPI has instructed the Idukki district collector to evict two CPM offices and a cooperative bank in Adimali town. The CPM offices have encroached upon government land, and the action is being taken under the provisions of the Kerala Land Conservancy Act. This move comes amidst criticism of the LDF government by the CPI state council, which claims that the land and quarry mafia have significant control over the government. A special task force has been formed to evict encroachments in the district.
