Robbery attempt for ‘love’: UP man arrested after trying to fund gifts for girlfriend

A 20-year-old man from UP, Shahid Khan, was arrested five days after attempting to rob a bank on Diwali. Khan’s motive was to shower his Canadian “Instagram girlfriend” with expensive gifts purchased through Amazon. He confessed to the crime after being identified through CCTV footage.
