Rs 1 crore lost to cyber frauds daily in Haryana, only Rs 10 lakh recovered: Police

The cyber police chief of Haryana, OP Singh, has expressed concern over the low recovery and blocking rate of online fraud cases in the state. He stated that people in Haryana are cheated of around Rs 1 crore daily, but only Rs 10 lakh is recovered or blocked. Singh suggested measures such as using artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect frauds in real-time, training programs for nodal officers, and establishing a 24×7 communication channel with the police’s cybercrime unit to improve the response to cyber threats and crimes.
