Coolant leaked from a backup line at the International Space Station (ISS), according to Russian officials. The leak occurred from an external backup radiator for Russia’s new science lab, but the main thermal control system was unaffected. Both the Russian space agency Roscosmos and NASA confirmed that there is no danger to the crew or the station. Engineers are currently investigating the cause of the leak, which follows similar coolant leaks from Russian spacecraft at the ISS in the past. The ISS is scheduled to continue operations until 2030.
