The Supreme Court of India has stated that it will not issue any directions to the government regarding the management of religious places. The court made this statement while hearing a public interest litigation (PIL) seeking equal rights for Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, and Jains in managing their places of worship. The court emphasized that the right to manage places of worship is already guaranteed to all religious denominations under Article 25 of the Constitution.
