SC to ED: Why isn’t AAP accused if it’s beneficiary

The Supreme Court has asked the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to explain why it did not include the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as an accused in the money laundering case related to Delhi’s scrapped excise policy. The court raised the question during the hearing of former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s bail plea. Sisodia’s lawyer argued that there was no evidence against him and that the decision to change the excise policy was a collective one. The ED will respond to the court’s query on Thursday.
