Several flights diverted due to low visibility conditions at Delhi airport

Dense fog enveloped Delhi on Wednesday morning, leading to the rerouting of several flights at Indira Gandhi International Airport. The fog, which the IMD reported began around 5.30am., significantly reduced visibility. Adding to the city’s woes, air quality remained in the ‘very poor’ category for the 15th consecutive day.
