Southern Railway has canceled around 40 suburban trains from 9.30am to 3pm between Beach and Chengalpet on Monday due to engineering work between Kodambakkam and Tambaram railway stations on October 2. Instead of the canceled trains, passenger special trains will be run at 11.55am, 12.45pm, 1.25pm, 1.45pm, 1.55pm, 2.40pm, 3.10pm between Tambaram and Chengalpet.
