NASA astronaut Sunita Williams is poised to make history by casting her vote in the upcoming US presidential election from the International Space Station (ISS), approximately 400 km above Earth. Following a process similar to absentee voting, Williams will submit her ballot electronically via NASA’s secure communication network.
