Six French airports evacuated after ‘threats of attack’

Six airports in France, including Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Nice, Toulouse, and Beauvais near Paris, were evacuated after receiving emailed threats of an attack. The evacuations were carried out to verify the credibility of the threats. The incidents follow other bomb threats in France since the recent attacks by Hamas and the Islamic State group. The airports experienced significant delays but have since returned to normal operations.
