Snatcher who evaded arrest for six years finally held by Delhi Police

A 40-year-old proclaimed offender, who had been evading arrest for six years, has been caught by the Delhi Police’s Crime Branch in Dehradun. The suspect, Omi, is a former ‘dhol’ player and was involved in multiple robbery cases in the capital. Omi’s arrest has led to the resolution of 12 cases of robbery, arms act, and criminal intimidation. Additionally, the Delhi Police arrested ten individuals across the city and recovered stolen items, solving several cases of snatching, robbery, and burglary.
