Social media platforms under no compulsion to take down content flagged by FCU: Govt

The Bombay High Court has asked the solicitor general to consult government officers on the stand of the fact check unit (FCU) rule. The court questioned the submission that social media platforms have the option of doing nothing when they receive communication from the FCU.
