Stones flung at Vande Bharat Express in Ujjain

The Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express in Ujjain was targeted with stone-throwing incidents on two consecutive days. These incidents, occurring between Chintaman railway station and Ujjain junction, damaged glass panes in two coaches but did not injure any passengers. An investigation pointed to a farmer’s mistake in one incident, and an earlier incident involved an intoxicated individual. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) registered a case in response to these incidents.
