Stop illegal financing with iron hand: Gujarat high court on businessman’s suicide

The Gujarat high court has called for action to end the problem of loan sharks in the region, following a case of a businessman’s suicide due to pressure from lenders charging exorbitant interest rates. Justice Sandeep Bhatt noted the prevalence of illegal financing and the snatching of properties from indebted individuals in the Rajkot region.
