The construction of the 5.5 km-long Bhangel elevated road in Noida, India, will resume after a six-month suspension due to outstanding dues and project cost escalation. The project, which began in June 2020, is already nine months behind schedule. The Noida Authority and the UP State Bridge Corporation Ltd (UPSBCL) have reached an agreement, with the Authority assuring the release of funds. Once completed, the road will alleviate traffic congestion in several areas. The UPSBCL is seeking support from the Authority to clear utility lines and ensure timely completion.
