Student found dead: ‘IIT-Kgp could have helped my son’

A fourth-year student at IIT Kharagpur was found hanging in his hostel room. The 21-year-old had been depressed over a project and had confided in his professor, who dismissed his concerns. The family had not filed a police complaint as of Wednesday. This is the third unnatural death at IIT Kharagpur in the past year.
