‘Superworld’ animation movie in the works at Paramount

Paramount Animation is developing a feature film called “Superworld” based on the book series of the same name. The film is set in an alternate world where everyone has powers, but a supervillain has taken control. The story follows a kid without powers who must steal a special stone to defeat the villain, while rallying his hero friends. The film will be overseen by Brad Butler and created by Yarrow and Carrie Cheney, known for their work on “The Secret Life of Pets” and “The Very First Noel”.
