Tamil Nadu: AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami rules out patch-up with BJP

AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami has stated that his party will not revive ties with the BJP and will face upcoming elections with its own alliance. Palaniswami expressed confidence that the AIADMK will win all 40 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. He also denied claims that the AIADMK was under pressure from the BJP and clarified that the decision to separate was due to incidents that hurt party members. Palaniswami accused Chief Minister M K Stalin of failing to secure Tamil Nadu’s share of Cauvery water and crop damage in delta districts.
