Tamil Nadu assembly adopts bill to declare Mayiladuthurai as protected agri zone

The Tamil Nadu assembly on Wednesday adopted a Bill to amend the Tamil Nadu Protected Agricultural Zone Development Act to declare Mayiladuthrai as one of the districts in the protected agricultural zone in the Cauvery delta.
