Tamil Nadu: Scissors left in woman’s stomach, doctors to pay Rs 10 lakh

The State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has ordered ₹10 lakh compensation to the family of a woman who carried a pair of scissors in her abdomen for 12 years due to negligence of doctors who had operated on her at a government hospital.
