Tammah Bhatia opens up about rejecting roles in films that display toxic masculinity

Tamannaah, the popular Tamil and Telugu actress, recently discussed toxic masculinity in the South Indian film industry. In an interview with Filmfare, she mentioned how she requested directors to reduce the intensity of scenes involving toxic masculinity. Tamannaah stated that she could usually relate to her characters and had not faced many issues, but she has now decided to avoid roles that celebrate toxic masculinity. Currently, she has three upcoming films – Bandraa, Aranmanai 4, and Vedaa.
