Tejashwi takes tough stance on women’s reservation bill

Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, has warned the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that if the rights of OBCs (Other Backward Classes) are infringed upon through the women’s reservation bill, the party’s foundation would crumble. Yadav, a leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), expressed concern that the bill could negatively impact the numerically powerful OBCs unless women from the social group receive proportional representation.
