Thailand earn 1st ever point vs Japan; China beat Malaysia

Thailand, after a heavy defeat against China, bounced back to hold Japan to a 1-1 draw in the Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament. Kunjira Inpa scored for Thailand while Miyu Hasegawa equalized for Japan. In another match, China overcame a slow start to defeat Malaysia 5-0 with Jinzhuang Tan scoring twice.
