‘That’s his opinion’: Akram on Shastri remark

Former India skipper and head coach Ravi Shastri created a furore with his remark on Shaheen Shah Afridi saying don’t overhype Pakistan pace spearhead by drawing comparisons with the legendary Wasim Akram. Shastri made his comments while commentating during the India-Pakistan match in Ahmedabad on October 14. Reacting to Shastri’s remark, Akram said Shaheen is one of the best pacers right now and the former India player is a good friend of his and he is entitled to have his own opinion.
