Tropical storm Ophelia knocks out power and brings flooding to parts of Mid-Atlantic

Tropical Storm Ophelia made landfall in North Carolina, causing power outages and flooding in parts of the Mid-Atlantic. The storm is expected to bring considerable flooding from North Carolina to New Jersey, with isolated river flooding also possible. As of Saturday, the storm had weakened and was about 50 miles south of Richmond, Virginia. Thousands of customers were without power in Virginia and North Carolina.
