UK top court to hear government appeal on Rwanda migrant plan

The UK government will argue in the Supreme Court to overturn a ruling that declared unlawful a plan to deport migrants to Rwanda. The Court of Appeal had concluded that the scheme was not lawful as Rwanda could not be considered a safe third country. The government will argue that the ruling was wrong, while those representing migrants want the judges to conclude that the scheme itself is unlawful.
