Uncertainty looms over tabling of draft Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Amendment) Bill in Monsoon Session of Parliament

In response to inquiries about the possibility of tabling the animal welfare bill during the upcoming monsoon session, the Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying Parshottam Rupala provided an ambiguous statement. Rupala said, “We are following the necessary procedure for tabling this bill. Currently, the bill has not yet reached that stage.”
