UP sugar millers demand hike in MSP of sugar

Centre’s decision to hike the Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) for sugarcane by Rs 15 to Rs 305 per quintal has spurred the cane millers of UP to demand a hike in Minimum Selling Price (MSP) as well — a move that could presumably lead to increase in the price of sugar in the open market.
