US elections results 2024: Indiana stays red as Donald Trump wins in long-held Republican state

Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, won Indiana’s presidential election, securing the state’s 11 electoral votes. Republican candidates also won the gubernatorial and 8th Congressional District races, solidifying the party’s dominance in the state. Mark Messmer will succeed Rep. Larry Bucshon in Congress, while Mike Braun will become governor, following Eric Holcomb.
