US late-night shows to resume next week after writers end strike

Late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, Seth Meyers, and Jimmy Kimmel are returning to television after a four-month strike by the Writers Guild of America. The strike, which began in May, resulted in the hosts launching a podcast called “Strike Force Five” to support out-of-work staff.
