A US warship intercepted and shot down 4 cruise missiles and 15 drones near the coast of Yemen. The missiles were fired by Houthi forces in Yemen with support from Iran, potentially targeting Israel. The USS Carney used SM-2 surface-to-air missiles to intercept the missiles and drones. In separate incidents, one-way attack drones targeted US positions in Iraq resulting in minor injuries, and two rockets were aimed at the Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center but caused no injuries.
