Residents of towers G and H of Chintels Paradiso in Gurgaon have been ordered to vacate the premises within 15 days due to safety concerns. A detailed structural audit conducted by IIT-Delhi found that the towers were unsafe for habitation due to corrosion of steel caused by high levels of chloride in the concrete. Legal action will be taken against those who violate the order. Three other towers in the residential project have already been vacated. Compensation has been offered to the affected residents.
