‘Vettaiyan’ opens with Rs 70 crore globally, fails to beat Vijay’s ‘GOAT’

‘Vettaiyan’, starring Rajinikanth, hit theaters on Oct 10 with a strong box office performance, grossing around Rs 70 crore worldwide on opening day despite being a weekday release. Although it didn’t surpass Vijay’s ‘GOAT’, it remains the second-best Tamil film opening of 2024. With solid advance sales, the film is set for a profitable run.
