The Enforcement Directorate (ED) plans to gather more evidence against Manish Sisodia and other Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders during their trial, following the Supreme Court’s denial of bail to Sisodia. The ED aims to establish that the amount of money lost to the exchequer due to changes in Delhi’s liquor policy by the AAP government was higher than initially estimated. The agency has already attached properties worth over Rs 128 crore belonging to alleged beneficiaries, including Sisodia, and the SC’s decision strengthens the ED’s probe against the AAP leadership.
