Where cricket was first played in India, 300 years ago

In the colonial era, Tankari Bandar lived its glory days. The sleepy village in south Gujarat was once home to a brisk port where the British had set up a customs house and a permanent police post. A tall lighthouse, which could be spotted from far away, was its signature. Today it is just another village with old memories.
